Mad Squirrel is a two-floor craft beer bar in the heart of St Albans, housed in a stunning location overlooking the Abbey with direct views from the outdoor seating area. The venue is run by the Mad Squirrel brewery (based locally in Potten End, Hertfordshire) and stocks 25 rotating craft beer taps alongside a full bar of wines, ciders, spirits and cocktails. Food focuses on freshly made, hand-rolled artisan pizzas, wings, burgers and sharing plates. The space features a private function room for events and regularly hosts live music, including solo artists, bands and open mic nights. Families and dogs are explicitly welcomed, making it a destination for diverse groups.
